Amended review – Boycott, They lost or sold my learning disabled brothers mobile phone. I initially went in to Powermend at the end of January this year and asked if they could unlock my brothers old phone so we can get his data off it, he had forgottenhis password. I was told that if I give a positive Google review they would have a look for me. I left them with my contact details and was told I would be contacted when they have tried.

I returned 2 days ago after having no contact with them since I dropped it off and spoke the same guy who I left it with. He was really rude and dismissive when I reminded him he had the phone and showed him my positive review left back in January. His response was “we have been born 3 times since then” which apparently is a tern of phrase somewhere in the world meaning “that was a long time ago”. He told me that he doesn’t have the phone and it is my problem.

Definitely not Recommended!

Great service my son’s phone screen broke and Powermend replaced it but unfortunately it turned out it wasn’t only the screen as the phone was still playing up. Powermend kindly went above & beyond and then offered me a discount on one of their new phones (to the value of the screen I had just paid for.) Very helpful and quick turnaround d would highly recommend and open 7 days a week.

If I could leave zero stars I would.

Long story short .. What was originally a PS70 screen repair has turned into a PS300 full iPad replacement because the guy who works/owns Powermend has broken my iPad with no intent to fix it without me paying for his mistakes.

DO NOT USE POWERMEND. Horrific service, would 100% never recommend to anyone.
