After migrating to a new iMac, I encountered a software problem I needed help to solve. I hopefully engaged the services of Derek Mitchell of “SilverSurf”, and it turned out to be a brilliant decision. He paid a home visit, and within less than an hour, he had solved the tricky problem and left me with a fully functional machine! He worked quickly and was thoroughly familiar with the intricacies of the Mac OS.
I unreservedly recommend “SilverSurf” if you have issues with your Mac. Derek is probably just as efficient on Windows PC issues, too!
July 2023: Once again Derek has provided superb service. This included improving connectivity of 2 computers, speeding both of them, improving the printer arrangements, sorting out storage problems, setting up mail document processes and then resolving a TV control issue which had meant that up to then the controls did not work. Derek never panics. He calmly works through every problem we give him. He is reliable, helpful, friendly and unflappable.
Derek came round promptly at the time agreed and soon fixed my laptop, giving me instructions as to what to do if the problem (small scroll bar as cursor and non responsive touch pad) reoccurred. He was very reasonably priced also. Thanks Derek. I will contact you again if I have any further computing issues in the future that I can’t fix myself.
