My work laptop had a bit of a humpty-dumpty moment a week before I was traveling back home. I needed a realistic assessment of the damage and a quote for fixing it so I could decide whether it was something that was worth fixing or if I should take the L and buy a new one.

Spoke with two lads about the device, and they quickly diagnosed the issue. It took them no time at all to tell me I’d need a screen replacement and how much it would cost with the labor and replacement parts: no hidden costs. It was a very fair quote, but given the time sensitivity of the issue, and their own personal advice, I made the choice to return home and purchase a new laptop there… and just for the record I did indeed ask around repair shops in Canada for price quotes, and they were either on par with or more expensive than Mike-o-Soft’s quote.

I have no doubt that I would’ve left it in their very capable hands had I not needed to leave the country so soon. Thank you for the advice, it’s always pleasant to talk with people who know what they’re doing, especially when I don’t! Wishing your business loads of success (while simultaneously hoping I won’t break anything any time soon… but if that happens, I know I’ll be stopping by here) =]

Absolutely amazing staff. Very friendly and knowledgeable, keeping in contact during the day to ensure I was kept aware of any changes while also informing me of updates (which massively helped as my anxiety was sky high in the morning and by the afternoon, it was almost non-existent). They also cleaned out all the parts (which I am very bad at remembering to do, so a lifesaver all round!)

Highly appreciative to the whole team who have given my PC not only an amazing case swap but a tune up I wasn’t even fully aware it needed, but I’m glad they know these things and can do them so easily.

Worked out a bit more expensive than I expected but you pay for the work and this work was top tier. I would recommend these guys 11/10 times.

Not sure if it happened in transit or was overlooked, but the D: drive was disconnected when we got home plugging it back in was quick and easy.
