Took an item to Cex Yeovil bearing in mind I live about 30 miles away from Yeovil but was in the area and what should of been straight forward wasn’t.

The guy took the item which needed to be tested and told me that they couldn’t tedt it until around 4pm that day which was fine as I said to the guy just email me the voucher that was fine he said.

So I left 6pm came and no voucher nothing I left it until the next day until lunchtime still nothing so I visited the store to find out they hadn’t got around to testing the item ( It was 2pm the following day by this time ).

All I got was a pathetic I’m sorry so I asked for the item back which after fumbling about I eventually received.

I ended up taking it to the poole store who managed to test it within 30 mins!!

I went into the store today, the member of staff behind the till didn’t know what they were even looking at, and I was then told that the wait would be 3 hours before they had tested my 2 items. I went back in once the time was up to be told that they couldn’t take the items due to very small problems with them, for example a small bend in an otherwise perfectly fine elgato cam link 4k capture device, and a scroll wheel on a Sony G series hx50 camera that works as it should, when trying to explain that everything works as it should I got no justification except for “we can’t buy it”

Went today and bought an xbox, got back home and tested it but found out the controller was faulty and didn’t work. This wasnt stated when i bought it so its obvious that it wasn’t tested i did take it back and they offered to give me another controller but i just asked for a refund. I wont buy electronics from this store anymore.
