I just had an awful experience with my fiance. We went in to buy a fridge, dishwasher and a few other bits. Looking to spend lots of money. Went upstairs to the fridges and there was no one to help us. Finally someone came and I asked if there was anyone to help. He said he’d send someone up. 10 mins later 2 workers come up, I go over and the first one is new so told us to wait for the other women who was already helping someone else that had only just come upstairs, so no one had actually come up to help us. Waited around for another 20 more mins and went over to the women and said she was still helping the other customer and told me to “shout over the lookout glass for Jack” I’m sorry what? Very unprofessional. The new lad was trying his best with us and was really the only good bit of our experience. He went downstairs to get Jack, waited another 10 minutes and still no one. The new lad ended up helping us best he could letting us know about delivery times etc but we ended up being in there for an hour for no one to help us and just be ignored.

I rushed in to buy a Morphy Richards barista coffee machine at Curry’s Seamer Rd in Scarborough this evening and Raj directed me very quickly to the right place! However, my back was bad, so Raj very kindly whizzed upstairs and got the machine for me. He then waited whilst I paid for it so that he could carry the coffee machine to the car for me! What a star! So thoughtful of him.
Chris, on the till, realised I was in a hurry so put everything through, including my voucher reduction, with great speed but very soliticously! He was really attentive too. Thanks to you both for such excellent service and so quick! And yes, I got to the music gig in time. Much appreciated, Maggie, a very grateful customer!

After moving to Scarborough in 2010 we went to Curry’s Scarborough buy x3 white goods, the member of staff wasn’t helpful so we told them to stick it and shopped else where. We’ve looked in these last few years but never bought anything. 14 yrs on I popped in as nowhere else to ask and asked for assistance regarding photo storage, transfer from google to cloud and from mobile to mobile which probably sound simple but more to it than that. The staff Ant, Mark & Elli at Currys Seamer Road Scarborough were so friendly and helpful customer service 10/10. Even Joey came in to assist at the last hurdle. Thank you to all concerned Best Customer Service in years
