Extremely disappointed with Louis Leedham and his PC repair service!

At the end of August, my gaming desktop PC stopped working and I took it to We Fix PC for repairs. Louis quickly identified the power supply as the problem and offered to replace my broken 850W PSU with a 750W PSU that he had in stock. I accepted and an hour later the PC was ready to be collected.
Total cost: PS95 (PS45 for the PSU and PS50 for one hour of his time)
Based on this interaction alone, I would have given him a 5-star review.

However, it gets worse from here.
Louis refused to give me any warranty, any documents or packaging for the new component (the supposedly 750W PSU). He simply said to return my PC to him if I have any trouble and he’ll sort it out. Furthermore, he insisted on me paying with cash and he didn’t give me a receipt.
RED FLAG right here!!
I should’ve known something was off. But, against my better judgment, I accepted, hoping everything would be fine.
The PSU Louis sold me burned out on the SAME DAY!!
I tried to contact Louis by email, telephone and text message, but I was completely ignored. I didn’t hear anything back from him for more than a week.
I was forced to pay a different repair service to get my PC fixed. And it turned out that the PSU Louis sold me was an unbranded and unlabelled component, with no specifications and no indication of the actual wattage. Very unlikely it was a 750W PSU, like he claimed.
Eventually, Louis sent me a message to tell me he was on holiday.
Two weeks later, I went to his place to return the faulty PSU and to ask for a refund. Strangely, despite insisting on me paying him with cash initially, he said he didn’t have any cash and he would send me a refund via a bank transfer. So, I left his place.
Louis refunded me ONLY PS40!! Despite failing to repair my PC and selling me dodgy hardware, he only refunded PS40!
He has been ignoring all my phone calls and messages ever since.
Basically, I got scammed by Louis Leedham and We Fix PC.
AVOID this place!! There are better and more trustworthy PC repair services in Maidstone.

Absolutely first rate service and great communication from start to finish.
We wanted my son’s pc fixed, cleaned and upgraded and Loius did an amazing job at a super-reasonable cost for his work.
Totally reliable and professional work. We had an issue with the Windows version that our pc had pre-upgrade and he even fixed that for us at his own cost!! Unexpected and amazing customer care.

Took a rather beaten up MSI gaming laptop to Louis to have a look at as it wouldn’t switch on. After a few days he advised that sadly it had multiple issues with the mainboard and it wouldn’t be cost effective to repair it. As it’s ready for scrap, there was no charge for the diagnosis. Louis was polite, informative and kept me updated throughout. Great service, very professional and thoroughly recommend him for your computer repair needs.
