I made the trip to seek advice and expertise on buying a new laptop.
When I intially asked, I was told by the store manager, with an arm wave, to ‘go take a look’ at the laptops ‘over there’ and someone will come over. She then just stood on the podium by the entrance and was shouting and waving at customers to ‘go over there.. over there’.
About 10mins later an assistant came over, by then I’d narrowed down to two choices myself, and I simply asked for their expertise on which was better for my purposes.
They literally had no idea, mumbled something incomprehensible while scrolling through their device to read the info, but only about one of the laptops. They had nothing to say about my other option really.
I used my own common sense to just pick one, and they went to get it.
15minutes later, after standing by the till I eventually found them again and they told me it’s not in stock.
I asked if I could buy it online and they said no. Then called me ‘Darling’.
I googled the brand and make then and there, the first option that came up was at Curry’s, but in Black, not Silver, and PS100 cheaper.
I just purchased online, as I will continue to do if I need to in the future, as clearly the store staff have no clue about anything, and don’t wish to find out.
The only good point about this particular store is the electrical recycling point.
I won’t return in store again.
vice? I said you should say sorry but her reply was no I am not apologizing for something I didnt. Yes I thought you actually didnt do or deal with my issue!!! I suggest I would like to receive an answer from the CEO!
To be fair the rack did say blue (in tiny letters) and I grabbed the red ones at the front.
I would assume like most people I’m sure, that if it says 7.99 on the rack they would be that and not double the price.
I had to get the rack unlocked again and pull off the other red set to get to the actual blue ones and then wait in the que again.
All in all, a lot of time wasted for what should have been a quick purchase.
The staff were very helpful and friendly and explained with apology that it was to save space.
Its obvious to me that the store is very badly managed.
