These guys fixed the power jack on my Dell portable workstation for 70% of the price Dell were going to charge for an onsite repair. It took them 2 days longer, as the part needed delivery – mine is a top-end model with 180W supply. The good part is that they are pretty courteous, you can watch them working from behind the counter in their well-lit shop. They give you the broken part, and there is a 3-month guarantee. There was a little bit of vagueness and imprecision around when it would be done so drop a star – perhaps this is the ‘creativeness’ they refer to in their mission statement.

Such excellent service. I brought in my HP laptop, which was having some very serious and unusual issues powering up. It is a relatively old one (4 years) and HP would’t give any support on it any more. I didn’t really have much hope it could have been fully restored. The guys gave me a very reasonable time and price estimate. Assured me I wouldn’t have to pay if they couldn’t fix it. The repair was ready when they said it would be and apparently comes with a 3 month warranty if the issue re appears. Very satisfied.

Had a cracked iPad screen which needed replacing and couldn’t bring myself to pay the PS200+ we’re charging. Spoke to a very helpful chap on the phone who explained the replacement would be a fixed PS59 and would be ready same day, so I went to Royal Computer during my lunch hour and the iPad was ready to collect later that afternoon. I got a receipt when I left the iPad with serial number of the device, and nothing to pay until the fix was done. Totally bowled over – great service. Thanks!
