I purchased Xbox with this company on the 7th of March for PS157.00, to be installed today. I followed the given instructions as directed in the Xbox manual to be installed alongside the TV, but the Xbox was faulty as it was not showing on the screen according to the manufacturer’s settings. The Xbox was coming up with a glitchy screen, and we could not read the screen.
I am very disappointed and disheartened, as my son was so sad and embarrassed, as his friends were here and they couldn’t play the game on his birthday. I hurried to the shop, optimistic, that the shop would sort the problem out or give me a better resolution. Upon arrival, I met the same staff that sold the Xbox. She had green hair with staff ID 61790, and her order number was KC576555.
When I visited the shop this afternoon, a member of staff informed me that it was a 10-minute problem to fix, gave them 10 minutes, but this never happened. The staff mentioned that due to returning the Xbox with the cable inside the port, I was responsible for worsening the issue, and this is classified as accidental damage, for which I am not covered for a refund or repair.
I requested to speak to a senior member of staff because, at this point, I couldn’t believe they were trying to blame me for a faulty item they sold to me . The manager by the name of Steve came out and gave me the same response as the previous staff. His body language and presentation were very uninteresting and annoying, and he never showed empathy or remorse. Even after explaining that I really needed a resolution as my son was waiting at home with his friends to play with the Xbox at his party, he was already in tears!!! However, these people had no remorse at all and were not ready to help.
It is vital to note that on the day of purchasing the Xbox, I was reassured with a 2-year warranty. That is, if anything should go wrong, I should return it, and a new product would be given as a replacement. However, this information was very misleading and untruthful. Finally, this company is fraudulent and deceitful, and I would not personally encourage anyone to patronise them. It does make sense, because I forgot a wire in a port and am now responsible for the faulty product. But the product never worked to start with !!! bear in mind that my friend, who also purchased an Xbox the same day, is having the same problem with the product and is returning it Monday as it turns off on its own.
Finally served after another wait, by the girl with blue hair. I’d seen a DVD boxset on the main website & wanted to know if it was in stock at that branch. She was unable to tell me, even after looking at the monitor for it; at least she was pleasant in her manner and tried to help…otherwise the review score would have been one-star
