I called in as my sim had stopped working so i popped in on my lunch break. Despite having many forms of ID with me but not passport / driving license they were unable to replace my non working sim card. So it was a wasted trip saying that the staff were very friendly and helpful and even called 02 from their landline to see if they could clear me through security checks. Sadly i was unable to understand the people asking the questions and it wasn’t a great line and with no wifi/data couldn’t get the security code etc. Ridiculous really when you can i found out go on their chat page and they will just post a sim card out for you but not the staffs fault. While i was there they had one person upset over a missing phone and someone else had been promised a sim for a different store they seem to have a lot of issues to deal with not caused by their store and they remained polite professional and were clearly frustrated they couldn’t help more. It all seemed a bit disorganised and unfair on the staff.
I will never go into this shop again!!! I Was told very abruptly to wait and that I wasn’t next in the queue (I was) another customer in the shop at the time also picked up on his bad attitude and looked at me in shock. He was the man with the headband, wearing a badge saying he/they! He was Looking at myself and my husband like we were something he had trodden on!! I obviously had to leave the shop as he made me feel extremely uncomfortable, he has the most awful attitude a man could have. I will be ringing o2 to explain this man’s terrible customer service skills. My husband has been with o2 for over 10 years and after todays experience he’s leaving o2
Called in O2 shop Crewe this morning 17/6/24 to change my Sim from Contract to Pay as you go. Initially Shaun said I could do it online but when I said I needed help he tried to sort it in store. O2 were a nightmare – cut Shaun off 4 or 5 times ( lost count) and we had to go through whole process again each time. Shaun was very patient and after over 2 hours in shop eventually got something sorted. Problem seemed be the fact I wanted to retain my mobile phone number. Thank you Shaun and other members of staff who helped. O2 need to get their act together and allow these sort of things to be done in store not someone in India, South Africa etc.
