My grandson bought a xbox controller his mom had already bought so we took it back the following day staff refused to give him his money back they offered him a voucher of which he said no so rge kids serving then proceeded to read us the company’s rules and regulations at 67 l do not need time told all the ins and outs by young kids ! What happened to customer service ? And the customer is always right ? They made my blood boil ! And at 67 a stroke and several operations unfortunately l swore and left the shop l felt sorry for my 10 year old grandson who’s 10th birthday was the day before as this was his birthday money ,the staff were rude and unhelpfully and determined no to gve him his PS50 back.

I had quite a poor experience here, problems parking, tight layout of shop, click and collect wasn’t ready even though I’d had an email saying it was ready to collect, staff were distracted but friendly and polite. My item had a faulty cable and charger, which nearly 2 weeks for them to sort out. They didn’t sort it to my satisfaction, and I had to return to the store to collect it as they wanted 12 days to post it out. Cex used to be better than this. Maybe it was just the Halesowen branch that dropped the ball.

I have shopped here a couple of times recently, each time I found the staff to be exceptionally helpful, and one time this staff didn’t didn’t know the answer to my question and asked the manager, Who helped me above and beyond what I considered helpful information . I highly recommend this store, I it is well stocked and the staff very helpful when you need advice
