I have been an loyal customer of apple for over 2 decades and being treated disrespectfully is not acceptable.
The lady duty manager (Annmarie) on 10/08/2024, 13/08/2024 & 15/08/2024 is not fit for this job. She lies and defraud customers and think that their customers are fools and would not see through. Once caught, she makes your life hell by making anything happen in store difficult per your request. This is an act of bully.
I wonder, how can they and their inexperienced staff diagnose a problem without checking? How can they say to customer that the product will come back to me more damaged than present and they won’t accept responsibility? How can they force customer to buy a new product when the old one is not fit for purpose?
I have an iPhone 13 pro, less than 2.5 years old. Developed a fault with the battery, without checking the phone they cooked up faults and costs worth PS800 and suggested that I considered my options and better buy a new phone.
Explained the staff and manager that I would not expect an item like Apple which costs PSPSPS to last less than 3 years and if there is a fault and that it should be covered under faulty equipment under consumer law and that this could open a law suite against them for selling items not fit for purpose.
Manager agreed to check the battery replacement option but said that the unit may come back to me more damaged and that they would not be responsible if that happened. I felt pressurized and threatened by them.
At the end, I walked out of the shop wasting 3 hours of my time, no phone repaired and a very bitter experience.
Avoid this shop and avoid apple, its trillion $ company for a reason, they know how to take your money and scam you legally!
I have waited a couple of months with the hope to get the email unsuccessfully.
So after months I went to the store again and i asked for Russell who said I’m not going to replace your device because with damage like this they don’t replace the device so you need to keep your scratched/faulty iPhone, I told him that you promised to replace it first time i came here than he said he doesn’t remember what he said.
I came out from the store very saddened because this was the first time i have received a customer service way below the company reputation of apple.
