I phoned Greenpoint up multiple times trying to get a quote before showing up but for 2 days did not get an answer. Once I had finally found the building, found the door, found the little A4 paper on the door with instructions on how to enter the building, I walked in to find a customer in there complaining to a member of staff about their iphone screen popping out after 1 day and apparently it’s just “one of those things”. I waited patiently for the staff member to “glue it down” and return. I received my quote for my screen being PS115 or PS125 I can’t remember. The second I heard that I just walked out. I waited days to get an answer, 20 minutes trying to find the place, 10 minutes waiting to be served and I got my phone fixed elsewhere by a lovely lad that took 30 mins and gave me the price (PS70) within 10 seconds of me asking. I know friends and family have used greenpoint before but I will not be using them in the future and I urge my family and friends not to use them either. Who wants a screen lifting after 1 day? Not me. My phone has been repaired for around a week to week 1/2 now and is fine, after hearing the other customer complaining all hope and guarantee was lost.

Greenpoint IT took a while to get back to me as they tried to ring round different suppliers to give me the most competitive quote. Unfortunately, the cost of repair was too costly, and it would have been cheaper to just replace it (touch screen laptop).
They did all this for free and no obligation, which I was impressed with, but they did end up being more expensive than elsewhere.

Kris has sourced a replacement screen (bit of an odd screen, so unfortunately not in stock) and repaired within days. Frankly, it performs better than when new!
He kept me up to date with the status of repair, and was a delight to chat with.
Absolutely excellent service, I thoroughly recommend to anyone.
