This company used a courier who tried to deliver my purchase to completely the wrong address. As a result, we had to take an extra day off work in order to take receipt of the delivery which was a present for a family member. When we requested a goodwill gesture for the inconvenience caused, which Hughes Electrical fully accepted, our request was flatly refused. If that is the way that they treat their customers, then any future potential buyers should beware.
The delivery service was excellent. My old freezer was removed and the new one installed by 2 very professional& friendly young men.
I was saddened to hear they’re about to be made redundant as some bright spark at Hughes thinks Lowestoft would be better served by the service depot in Ipswich!!!
I’d give these 2 local Hughes men 11 out of 10. To the person who made the Ipswich decision, I’d give ZERO.
My mother needed a lightweight vacuum cleaner. The very helpful salesman found exactly what she needed and he then put it together for her. Amazing service that my family has appreciated in Lowestoft for three generations
