For several years now, my 2013 AppleMac had really slowed down, which was understandable due to its age. Acting upon a recommendation from a friend, I took my Mac into Howard Conrad’s Apple repair centre. The technician who dealt with me was very helpful and informed me that my Mac needed a new SSD (Solid-State Drive) to restore its ailing health. I accepted his advice, and a new SSD was fitted. I’m pleased to say that my Mac is now restored to full health and working at full speed – which is an absolute joy after its frustratingly slow performance of recent years. Excellent service. My MacBook keyboard had decided to lose all functionality, apart from the On/Off button. I was able to use a legacy keyboard as a periphery, but that was not a suitable fix!

The service from Howard Conrad was first class. The repair was effected within the quoted 72 hours (as testing was required), to the quoted cost, and with great communications during the test period to explain what was wrong and what was required.

Two other points: The ‘front of house’ reception area is bright, clean and stylish, creating a great first impression of a professional business. And the discount card to the adjacent coffee shop is a terrific idea, which I used.

Last week I needed a screen replacement on my iPhone and I naturally turned to Howard Conrad, who I have used a couple of times over the years with various problems on Apple devices. As I expected their service was exemplary. Booked in online and on arrival was given a completion time of 2-3 hours later. Price was very reasonable and my screen seems brighter than it ever was.
