Booked for an oven to be delivered and fitted on 1st April 7-10.59 am. After stores closed Saturday evening before Easter Sunday I received text saying they ‘should’ arrive between 1-5 pm.
I rang the number on my receipt etc Monday morning. Eventually reluctantly I did a screen chat. Was told whole thing had been cancelled with no explanation. Also I could not be helped further as this was not an on line order and I need to ‘get’ to the store. I replied I did not need to ‘get’ anywhere and that the phone number was misleading. I was transferred to cancel the insurance plan and was told the same. I went to work in the garden after only for my son to call me saying Currys had arrived at approximately 12.30. The fitters did a good job but only 4 stars (lucky to get that) Currys as I did not think this very funny if an April fool.

I decided to visit the store in person as the last time l bought a dryer online l had ordered a really small one!

A member of staff greeted me as l arrived, the store was quiet. I explained what l was looking for as l had a specific idea of what l wanted and so bought a washing machine and also a dryer.

I decided to go for all the extras, re; insurance and yearly maintenance. My machines are going to arrive on Wednesday.

But generally my experience of buying was a positive one, though l did spend quite a bit. Hopefully the investment will be worthwhile.

I am sure l will update the experience of having the machines delivered and fitted.

terrible service. I had a gift card oh 200+ pounds they claimed it from their ipad and since their system was down the transaction did not go through but the credit from the gift card had been taken by their staff. instead of apologizing for their mistake they told me to return 24 hours later then when i returned 24 hours later again they told me to return after 72 hours. in all of this they neither looked apologetic nor were any of them keen on helping me. instead they were there like they did not care at all. never visiting this store ever again
