I visited the shop because my laptop had stopped working. Muhammad, the employee, offered to diagnose the device and requested that I return in half an hour. According to him, he would diagnose the device first and only then would be able to estimate the cots. Upon returning 20 minutes later, the laptop had been repaired and I was presented with a bill for PS150, citing a broken logic board. Despite the fact that I lacked the expertise to verify the technician’s claims, he simply charged me without my consent. Additionally, the price seems exorbitant considering the brief duration of the service and the fact that no new parts were installed.
In summary, I feel deceived and the service was unprofessional and potentially fraudulent. However, my laptop is now functioning properly.

UPDATE: to my critique above, the owner answered the following: “Are you crazy ? You idiot, if you didn’t wanna fix your laptop then why came to our store and gave us your laptop to fix ? Do you think we are free here , we are always fully booked and doing repairs …”. (Screenshot attached)

In any reputable shop, I would have received an assessment or a quote first (for a fee). However, after I asked specifically about the cost and Muhammad promised to give me the estimate after half an hour, I was simply charged PS150. And the response to my criticism unfortunately just proves how unprofessional and fraudulent this place is.

UPDATE (next day): the shop now has changed their reply to my comment (see the screenshot).Now they are accusing me of lying and that I tried to extort a free service from them – allegedly with video evidence.
Firstly, I wasn’t lying; as mentioned in the first comment, the laptop works perfectly after the repair. However, as discussed, I was not offered a price proposal or advice, as I had explicitly requested.
I am addressing the shop owners directly: if, as you say, you still have the CCTV, then I offer to come round and watch the surveillance video with you. If it turns out that you were right, then I will delete this review immediately – I have no interest in destroying your reputation. However, if you refuse, or if it turns out that I spoke the truth, then I will let the comment stand.

Terrible customer service. Terrible repairs. Do not recommend

Initially stated my laptop repairs would cost PS120, turns out they charged me 200 plus 30 service charge. They didn’t keep me up dated with the repairs and these extra costs. As I went abroad and my laptop stopped working after a couple of days after they “fixed it,” I had an extra 50 euros charge at a different repair shop.

I sent them proof of these repairs and even videos of my laptop not working but they won’t give me even a partial refund.

Instead, I received insulting emails and they threatened me with legal action if I left a bad review.

In their reply to my email, they said the following:
“You just want money because you are student and you need money for your expanses.”

Excellent Service! I changed my LCD screen in South East Asia and that didn’t last long. My experienced with Mr Tech guy is beyond exceptional. They care for the costumers and make me feel at ease even providing me with warranty service. I couldn’t be more thankful for their help in this foreign country. I hope you get more business in the future just what you deserved. And to the council that prohibits them on putting the sign up I hope they consider again. Thanks
