Hello,
Would like to share my experience with this company. On the 24th of June 2024 I ordered a coffee machine from their amazon store. On the 25th of June 2024, I ordered coffee pods from Nespresso website. on the 26th of June 2024 in the afternoon, I received both items, the coffee machine from Hughes listed on amazon and my coffee order from Nespresso. The issue was that I received both items at the same time and never though I would receive the Nespresso coffee the next day.
On the 26th of June 2024 evening I decided to return the coffee machine because I found it a lot more cheaper in a different place, and by my bad luck I also sent my coffee order from Nespresso along with the coffee machine, I tough hughes has sent me a gift with the coffee machine so I sent both boxes back.
I have been in contact with this company to try and recover the parcel I sent by mistake and also told them I would pay any delivery charge to get my parcel.
To not make any longer this story, this company “Hughes” said from the beginning they did not received the second box (my nespresso coffee order), redirected me to contact amazon, after that redirected me to contact EVRI, and finally to contact DPD. At the end, amazon, EVRI and DPD has sent me evidence that this company has been lying to me from the beginning. I got delivery pictures where I can see “Hughes” received the second box too. Hughes try to lie again saying they send back the parcel to DPD, despite being delivered by EVRI, I contacted DPD and EVRI too and they did not received anything back from this company, as they scan barcodes.
I am very disappointed with the honesty of this company and all the lies that have told me(I have proof of this) to keep my parcel.
PD: I know it was my fault for sending both boxes by mistake, but my point is I do not understand why they have been lying to me, keeping me from one courier to another and also amazon. I would have accepted if they just told me that they discarded the package because it wasn’t for them, THEY JUST DECIDED TO PLAY THE DISHONESTY CARD.
Given the pandemic and restrictions Nick was extremely professional, efficient and friendly. He is a credit and asset to your company and in no small part the reason for our continued custom.
