Surprisingly rude and unlettered. I went there to trade my phone for cash, the woman employee tells me my phone was not even bought in the UK, doesn’t even allow me to show the proof of purchase!! Her reply was “We are not amazon” when i said the phone was purchased online on Amazon. It takes a minute or 2 to investigate the box which has the IMEI number that’ll match the phone’s IMEI and look at the invoice. There’s multiple ways she could have confirmed her suspicions either way but just flat out telling me my phone was not even purchased in the country without doing proper minimal due diligence is just unprofessional and laughable. I can’t imagine an employee telling a customer “Go and sell at some other store” if it didn’t happen to myself. Not knowing is one thing, but disrespecting customers because there’s no consequences? Will never visit any CEX again, which admittedly won’t probably hurt the company but i’d rather go where they value their customers.

So disappointed by CEX in general. I’ve for some reason been blocked from using the UK website (other countries work fine) and no one is willing to help me out. Blocking a customer while I only looked for a game on the website and then no service to take care of it? I hope this behavior doesn’t reflect onto other services from this company…

I would never recommend a person
To go there and sell their products.
I recently sold my insta360 x3 over there,
And they literally played me.
It was a product under warranty and I didn’t get a fair selling price.
And also I’ve heard from most of my friends,it was the worst selling and buying shop in the UK.
Shame on you guys.
