One of the worst customer service experiences we’ve had. Visited store to purchase an item and spent 20 minutes walking around trying to find a staff member to help. Eventually decided to quietly wait at a distance of a few feet from a staff member who was helping some other customers. One of the customers said ‘I think that person wants some help’. The staff member didn’t react. Then, when they had finished with the customers, they pushed past me without making eye contact and vanished round the corner. The other customer couldn’t believe it either. I then spoke to another member of staff who told me I had to speak to one of the specific staff for the section and when I told him there was no one available, they told me to try the person at the tills. I went to the tills and the staff member told me they couldn’t leave the till and that I should speak to a someone in the relevant section. I was about to walk out when I spotted a staff member at the very back of the section on a computer. I (almost) ran down and was able to get to them before they did a disappearing act. They seemed disgruntled when I asked if they could get me the product that I was ready to buy. Begrudgingly, they went into the back and got it, then passed it to me like it was infected with the plague before bolting past me. A truly bizarre and frustrating experience. We will go to Argos next time we purchase electronics or appliances of any type in future.

I wish I could give negative stars. Staff clearly doesn’t want to be there. Tried three times to buy a 1500quid fridge and eventually bought it from argos. I believe in actually dealing with people to preserve jobs, but this store is the reason why online is taking jobs. If only theirs online portal worked… Won’t ever go back.
By the way currys I’ve spent close to 20k buying appliances that your staff didn’t sell.

My husband and l were at curry’s last weekend wanting information on induction hob and ovens we met with a guy called Rob and l must say I have never come across a more helpful and knowledgeable guy, nothing was too much trouble and any questions we had he spoke to us in a manner that we could understand curry’s are very lucky to have this guy and we will certainly be buying hopefully from Rob thankyou
