USELESS SHOP!! I made a special journey to this shop to buy a particular laptop that they had in stock. When I got there , I had a look at the laptop and said I wanted to buy it. They were unable to locate the charger, and said it was definitely in the store but they just couldn’t find it! I offered to pay full price and buy it without the charger, but they refused (!!!) I then offered to give them my phone number so that they could call me when they found the charger. They refused again!! WHY?!?! It was obvious they just couldn’t be arsed to make the effort to find the charger! So I had to walk away empty handed. I wasted three hours of my time (including travelling to the shop) as I had genuinely only made the journey for this one item. VERY UNHAPPY.

Rude horrible grumpy staff member male with long blond hair came in today too buy forza horizon 4 on the xbox one said can I pay cash and card he got mad and grumpy and said no you cart are you series you can pay cash and card anyware in the store next time am in the shop will be speaking to the manger so he gets fired also tried asking him some questions but he said cart be borved what the hell train your staff this is rediculs. You cart ask questions anymore and you cart even do simple tasks this shop has really gone down Hill hope it closes soon and you all get fired.

Bought a used item for PS100, in the Castleford store, the following morning, I returned to say the item is cheaper and being advertised for PS85 with Amazon, Argos, and Curry’s, asked to be treated fair on price. Was coldly told head office sets the price, no refunds, no cooling off period, nothing we can do.
Had I bought from a reputable company, I’d have been offered price matching and a cooling off period.

I realise my error in this situation, and having learnt a valuable lesson about the customer service and policies of Cex.
I thank them for revelling themselves.
