I’ve been to quite a few CEX stores in my time and I do think this is one of the worst. It is so poorly run that if there is more than two people in the queue I don’t even bother trying to buy anything. There’s 6 tills and yet only one ever seems to be being used. Other staff just stand around or serve one person and then disappear. Meanwhile, the queue grows longer and longer. I understand there are probably complexities that I don’t understand but I think it would be basic business to have more people serving when it gets busy and having seperate queues for trading in and buying. It would also be great to prioritise people that want to buy? I got stuck in a line behind two people trading in items and so it took 20 mins to buy one dvd. It’s ridiculous especially when they have a competitor two seconds away (Trade me In) that never have this issue.

I had a very good experience here with great customer service. Their employee (Victor I think) took a lot of time to talk to me about a DSLR camera they were selling and did his best answer my questions. He didn’t push me to buy it, he just wanted to make sure it was the right things for me. Lots of cool stuff in here and the employees make it a really good customer experience. Cheers guys!

Yesterday I sold 2 mobile phones and was told the money would be in my bank by 12.00 the next day.
The CeX site also states the same.

On arriving home, I checked the receipt of goods ticket with both amounts totalling PS0.00.

I can only assume that the store have decided that I don’t deserve the money for the items I sold.

Should have sold on eBay.
