Don’t use! Friend took tv for repair, which was still working may i add, it was also still under manufacturers guarantee aswell as currys guarantee.
Currys repair team decided as they didn’t have the part, they would disassemble his tv for parts (without asking him first or getting his permission) and gave him an evoucher to the amount that he paid for the tv to use in store.
Problem is the tv was on sale and tv equal to it are more than double the price now.
I didn’t realise when you take things to get repaired, they can “scrap” your item for parts without out your permission and then try saying we will give you a voucher to what you paid.
You destroyed it so it should be a like for like replacement. Not a voucher to the sale amount
Shame on you currys.
I will no longer be using the store

Jorja and Steve at Curry’s in Barrow-in-Furness are exceptional. They went above and beyond to make sure we got the best deals on the many appliances for our first home. I just want to say a massive thank you to both of them. They are without doubt some of the best salespeople I’ve ever encounted – never pushy and always happy to help. If you walk in the door and are greeted by Steve or Jorja, then make sure to ask for their assistance – trust me, you wont regret it!

Overall, a great experience and one that I’m looking forward to having again.

Helpful service from people who know what they’re talking about! Ordered a laptop on Sunday afternoon and it was ready to pick up on Monday afternoon after work.

The only issue was that their trade in for my old laptop came back as PS30… Even though the cheapest online second hand is selling for PS630!

To be fair to the staff, they advised me to get at LEAST PS300 for it and not accept the PS30. So good on them for giving a guide price for passing it on.
