Useless staff and manager.I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration regarding a recent purchase experience at your Preston branch (9 Friargate, Preston, Lancashire, PR1 2AU). My wife, who is five months pregnant and a student with urgent research deadlines, required a new laptop as her current one stopped working. Therefore, I decided to purchase a new laptop for her through your click and collect service, using Klarna for payment.

Today I purchased a laptop. I was informed that the item would be ready for collection the following day. Consequently, both my wife and I went to collect the laptop on the next day.Upon arrival, we were given a different laptop. Suspecting that the item was not what we had originally ordered, we checked it in the store. It turned out that my suspicion was correct – the laptop handed to us was not the same as the one confirmed in the email.
After bringing this to the attention of the staff, they acknowledged the mistake and took back the incorrect laptop. They provided me with a receipt, asked me to sign it, and requested that we return after 10 minutes. When we returned, the staff informed us that a refund was not possible because the purchase was made through Klarna. Initially, they mentioned that a voucher could be issued, but later retracted this, again citing the Klarna payment method.
It is entirely unacceptable that we are being charged for an item that we did not receive due to the incompetence of your staff and the store manager’s unwillingness to rectify the situation. The manager directed me to contact customer service.
The manager and the staff is useless and irresponsible.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this establishment. The staff were unhelpful and seemed disinterested in providing any form of assistance. I felt ignored and undervalued as a customer.

When I tried to address my concerns with the manager, I was met with an equally dismissive attitude. Instead of resolving the issue, the manager was unprofessional and indifferent. It’s clear that customer service is not a priority here.

I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant experience. Save your time and go somewhere else where your business will be appreciated.

useless staff, went to sell my tv and xbox and was only told after being made to wait over 2 hours that i couldn’t sell it without my ID, when they told me before hand i wouldn’t need ID ( i asked) then said i could “leave it here” whilst i went ALL the way home to get my ID and come back, walked across to cash gen and had sold both of them and bought a new laptop in literally 10 minutes. Incompetence, i know 14 year olds that could do better
