Came back with a new screen that didn’t fit properly and the USB port didn’t work. Took it back 5 days later (once my son had tried to use it), and they openly blamed my son for having broken/dropped it as it was working when it left their premises.
My son has been using it since, with a screen that clicks when opened, a USB port that doesn’t work, and a battery that doesn’t charge. 1 year later he has finally had enough, bought a new one, and handed the broken one over to Dad to have a look at.
Within 3 minutes it became apparent that the MacBook given back to us by MBSIT is NOT my son’s MacBook – completely different serial number. (We have the original box still)
Don’t let this lot anywhere near expensive items – they are simply not to be trusted.

This was booked in my partner’s name. Repair ticket T-1294. I have been reading the email exchanges.
The MacBook was working fine – just a blank screen. No other issues. You told us immediately that it would not boot up – my sons machine was working fine, so we could not understand this. There was some faffing over getting backups (my son was just about to submit all his A-level work which was on this machine), then you replaced the screen. It clicked when opening and closing so went back to you. You found another problem – which required ordering a new part. You offered a loan machine for my son – but as his most recent work was already lost and currently being re-done we did not take up the offer. New part arrived, was fitted then the machine was returned to us. Now, it would not charge and the USB connection didn’t work. We visited you twice to deal with this – you sent us away both times blaming my son for dropping the machine. He had not – he is not an idiot. You still demanded full payment, so we voted with our feet. Now that our son has finally had enough of the machine, he has handed it to us – and we find immediately that this machine has a different serial number to one we sent in to you.

All handled very professionally.
For PS75 set up my new laptop with all my apps and data. I could have done it myself but happy to pay MBS IT to save me a few hours…..

Ten years on and I’m still using them. These guys are simply great, Consistently good communicators, problem solvers and easy to work with. They always turn it up to 11.
