I put 5 stars up for them a couple of years ago for help over Xmas, and here are 5 more. The laptop kept turning out to have 0 charge and crashing thought it read okay. Quay IT treat the thing like general physicians…’Sometimes the battery conks out; we have put in a new one; that might turn out to be faulty; the power feed from the port to the battery may have given up the ghost… your charger may have pegged out.’ You feel Quay are helping you to understand that things do just break even with 0 moving parts…Anyway, a battery later it turns out the charger had cracked so their and my fingers are now crossed. It’s working, they were sympathetic, they were helpful, luckily, they worked it out this time again. 10/10.

For 20 years Quay IT have supplied my company and me personally with both Mac and PC computers, service and repairs. Overall they are competitive and try their best to be. It is important to have easy access to local IT hardware support and advice. Try getting an appointment with a Mac *Genius (*so called) in Exeter – how many billing hours are you prepared to loose out on? Quay IT are a bit quirky in comparison but they know their stuff, are down to earth and not up their own bums. I trust them to do their very best in a very competitive market.

I needed a new printer but one that was compatible with a 12 year old laptop. Quay IT were fantastic. They researched the issue and were able to supply exactly the right product which they were happy to install with no extra charge. This involved a lengthy update to my operating system which they willingly undertook. For value, attention and general quality of service they were excellent, FAR better than my experiences with much larger retail chains. Thank you!
