Took my time selecting a kettle without any assistance and had to go to Amazon to find the features of the kettle. Decided to buy the kettle and was told it was the last one and I had to take it from the shelf. Went to pay for it and there was a delay. Then told that I couldn’t buy it because it was still in stock. I didn’t have a clue what she was talking about, I don’t work there! I had to extract an explanation and an half hearted apology like I was pulling teeth. Approached first member of staff who was equally unhelpful, but was sarcastically grateful for my feedback!

I purchased an HP laptop in Feb 2023, I paid PS450, my mistake being I declined an extended warranty. Now June 2024 and the laptop is dead, very dissapointing as I’d expect it to last 3 years, surely ?
I contacted Currys who advised since the warranty expired there’s nothing they can do unless I pay for repair, not cheap and likely not worth it so its for the bin….
16 months isn’t long for a laptop to fail.
I will not buy anything else from Currys.
Lesson learned.

Went in today to the East Kilbride shop to purchase a Google nest audio and look at Samsung products.

Went to the checkout desk ,said I wanted to by nest audio & was told someone would be called to help me.

After 5/6 minutes a very frustrating looking female arrived and as I spoke to her she said she had to serve the 5 customers who came after me.
Not actually the experience I was looking for. She was very rude and a somewhat incompetent individual.

I just went to the car and purchased online from another company..
