Had such a disgusting experience with the old man who runs the laptop section. This place is so understaffed you wait an hour just to get help as others don’t work in that section.

We came in for a specific laptop to which he proceeded to sell us something more expensive. We declined and he kept harassing us to buy the HP laptop. We explained that we didn’t want this and wanted the laptop we came for and showed him that it was in stock. To which he went upstairs and came back with the same HP laptop he wanted us to buy and NOT the one we requested. We wasted almost 2 hours of our time being ignored over someone who wanted commission and complained about his colleagues not writing things down. We stated we would go to Argos instead and he protested for us to go their instead since we didn’t know any better

The last straw was when we secretly ordered the laptop online and left the shop as we could pick it up same day. He cancelled the order once he saw our names and we got an email confirming this.

This was honestly a HORRIBLE experience and it’s time this branch hire better, compassionate and understanding people. Not someone so condescending and rude just because he’s been there for over 10 years. We don’t care. We just want a laptop. This is not our first encounter with him but it will be our last. Thanking God we got our laptop from Argos instead.

Don’t waste your time. You’ll waste your whole day here.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

We bought a Sharp heat pump tumble dryer for PS460. After 4 months it stopped working. After numerous calls, calls cut off and long periods on hold, I was finally put through to Pacifica, their warranty agent. They promised an engineer would visit on 29th April. I waited in and eventually received an email at 11.30 saying they would come on 3rd May. I tried to phone but a recorded message said “we can’t take your call now” and cut me off. I tried phoning Currys head office, and got through to a call centre operative who told me they couldn’t help. She put me through to another operative who constantly told me my product wasn’t covered as I didn’t have a care plan, when I explained it was in warranty, she just shouted the same thing, wouldn’t allow me to speak and then cut off the call. Appalling customer service. Sadly, par for the course these days.

Went in to buy a new tablet. Assistant Louie 27 was very helpful. In my 70s he had so much patient very helpful. I knew what I wanted he sorted out a deal for me with cloud and anti virus. I am pretty ok with technology but was nice to have someone treat me with respect and patience.so thank you Currys and Louie. Will definitely use again.
