I’m aware after reading this back it sounds like an advert. It’s just my experience.

I’ve made purchases via their online store and in branch, have had a warranty repair via the phone and returned goods and have always had a good experience.

I’ve just been back to the sevenoaks store after making a purchase at the same branch about 5 years ago. The experience was just as good. Friendly knowledgeable staff with the patients of saints, that don’t work on commission and genuinely seem interested in finding you the right fit…..They also make a decent cuppa.

I went in looking to change my B&W 607 S1 for something less bright and my speakers were going to be in a compromised position in my room, with the guidance of Andy I tried 2 different size pairs of Sonus Fabers, a later set of B&W’s, PMC’s before Andy suggested Kef LS50 Meta’s just as I had given up hope of finding the sound I was after, I had discounted them due to previous experience with other models, 30mins of listening later and I was sold. They even ran a set of blue ones up to me from their warehouse.

Listening to them now at home I have no regrets.

I dealt with Gavin both times I came in-store, and what a pleasure it was! I have found that there are people who work in/with audio who can be overbearing and pushy (to the point of being downright rude), but Gavin is calm, accommodating and clearly hugely knowledgeable technically without ever being at all patronising – just a very nice bloke who is very good at his job. Expect a premium level of service should you come here.

Bought quite a lot of kit from SSAV over the last year. Great delivery experience. Recently had cause to ask them for a bit of after sales service and they were superb. Very knowledgeable and couldn’t be more helpful. I highly recommend them.
