Laptop keyboard had a few missing keys. Decided to attempt to fix it myself but hit a bit of a soldering-block (pun intented). With all the parts I needed but lacking skill, equipment and with PS45 burning a hole in my pocket, I found Springbok Computers local to me. I called this morning and spoke to an incredibly knowledgeable staff member who advised I bring it in today and that they could fit the new keyboard for me for a labour cost. I took it down and it was ready within a few hours. Incredible speed, service a and support. If you have anything you need sorting out for your tech, give them a call!

They also have some components and refurbished PCs/Laptops for sale for an incredibly good price. If I didn’t already have a laptop, I’d have considered getting one. 5/5 for a small, independent but superior store.

I’m quite tech savvy, but for certain jobs I like to employ a professional to do certain work that I want to ensure is done properly. This gives me a two tier benefit, that I can tell if I’m being scammed and also if the advice that I’m given is accurate, it’s surprising how many places try it on. Not a Springbok. Not only was the communication top tier, but the work done for the cost was absolutely spot on. The staff are friendly, approachable and fluent in both geek and normal speak. If you’re in the know or not they’re the guys to go to! The standard of work was fantastic as well, done within 24 hours, perfectly fitted, and was even offered a hand to get my PC to the car. These guys are top notch, I’ll use them for everything related to my computer in future, i cannot recommend them highly enough.

I will honestly say Springbok is the best computer shop i’ve visited. Recently I went to get a new pc built (as I don’t trust myself with thousands worth of pc parts), and their speed and friendliness in their service is incredible. It only took a couple of hours to build my pc, which I am very impressed by due to the size of the pc itself (52x52x27cm). It has been a few weeks since the pc was built and I have had zero issues with it and the wire management performed by them is incredible. if I could give 10 stars I would. Highly recommend.
