I think the team there are brilliant, I’m 99.9% sure that it’s a family affair spear headed by ‘dad’ and I think that’s lovely. Not IT related but it’s a well run family business, and it has been great to see it grow with the kids stepping up and providing the great service I first recieved about five or six years ago when they first opened.

I’ve always had really good service, they have fixed all my issues large and small, always at a fair price (sometimes for free) and always within a good time frame. They’re brilliant and I can’t really find fault in thier service. If a part will take ten days, they tell you, if it comes in early they phone you, if they say they’ll have the work done at a certain time – it’s done. There are no grey areas in the service they offer.

The team have no problem stopping thier work and ‘having a quick look’ to check out your issue and give a realistic appraisal of and how to fix it – and I’ve never been charged for that. It’s like good old fashioned service, that once upon you got everywhere, but sadly, you don’t get hardly anywhere today.

After going in a few times to get my laptop repaired, leaving with a satisfactory service It allowed me enough confidence in the business and the operation as well as the quality of the service to use them to purchase a new desktop.

After going in and inquiring about parts the manager sat down with me and after I relayed my wants and desires he fabricated a parts list for me with various quotes that remained comfortably within my budget.

The service also included assembly, delivery and genuinely made the process simple and actually quite fun!

This is a computer/tech shop I would certainly recommend as the guys there know exactly what they are doing and how to give professional advice and information to their customers, whether it be a repair, assembly or just general information.

So thank you very much to Dave, for allowing me to build a computer that will futureproof me for my gaming and career needs. You are a credit to the area. I look forward to future business ventures.

My husband cracked the screen of his brand new mobile phone. X-Act IT offered an exceptional, efficient service and I definately recommend them. I showed them the phone as we needed a quote to claim on our house insurance. They emailed the quote to us and after the insurance company accepted the quote.
