Could not recommend this repair centre enough!

I had an issue with my Dell XPS where it suddenly stopped working and I wasn’t able to turn it on. My initial troubleshooting suggested the issue was a CPU failure and was beginning to think I’d need a new laptop.

After contacting the shop I quickly got a reply from Paul. I brought in the laptop at around midday, and by mid afternoon Paul had called me to inform me that unfortunately the CPU had gone but that he could replace the motherboard for a very reasonable price later that day.

I even had some teething issues with Windows after I had got the laptop back. Contacted Paul again, who asked me to bring the laptop back in. He then proceeded to do a fresh reinstall of Windows and stress test of my computer to make sure everything was working fine before returning it. The best part was that he didn’t charge more for this additional work.

In summary, I was blown away by the reasonable prices, great communication and even better customer service afterwards!

My laptop was not charging,I thought it was a wire problem , I got a new wire and yet my laptop was still not charging. I concluded it was a wire problem. I went online searched for a laptop repair shop, then I found Gadget Console Laptop and I rang the number, Paul picked and I went to the store. He checked and told me the new wire is working and charging my laptop while the old wire is not working. It turned out that I did not fit-in the new wire ( universal laptop charger that I bought from Amazon) properly into the laptop charging port and that was why it was not charging my laptop.
I was amazed at his honesty as he did not take advantage of the opportunity to exploit me, so I wanted to pay him at least for his time, he refused. I am back home, my laptop is charging and am using my laptop.

Paul, took my call in the morning, the PS5 was dead. I went to see him in Norwich. However, I live in Lowestoft, but his reviews speak for themself. It was worth the trip.
He certainly knows his trade and is a genuine nice guy. He went out of his way and fixed it the same day, even though he was closed. The power supply was completely dead. He also showed me a potential issue with the PS5 and the liquid metal on the processor. Laying the PS5 flat from now on.
