Terrible service. I queued today for almost 30mins in an almost empty shop to buy a dvd only to see multiple staff members ignoring customers and walking around in circles behind the counter. Only a few were serving people. All customers looked fed up and the line was building behind us. After waiting so long I put the dvd back and left. I’ll be buying it online elsewhere now. Not that the store will care, since they have such a blase attitude to serving people. Such a shame as I’ve used this store for years but the staff and service have gone downhill tremendously.

this is my favourite place. pretty much my second home. well not really because i dont go that often but it is pretty good on the times i do go. i come here to add to my collection of games and dvds. most of the times i come to cex i buy a lot of games or dvds so it should take a while but the staff do it as fast as possible so thats good. also i sold an xbox here and i got the money in store credit the next day, was very easy and simple to do. ive tried to sell 360 games before but they were all “too scratched” so they wouldnt take them, thats a bit annoying but oh well makes sense i guess.

My boyfriend bought an Xbox one on click and collect, he got given a faulty series x controller and when he tried trading it back in they said there’s nothing they can do about it even though they sold it to him like that. He now has a new Xbox so was wanting to trade his old one in ( the one he bought from here) but won’t be able to as your website says they require a controller but you won’t take the controller as it’s faulty. How your staff gave it to us so it obviously wasn’t properly checked. Won’t be going back
