AVOID! Screen repairs are not fit for purpose, and the warranty seems good until you have to keep relying on it!
I don’t like to leave bad reviews but my hand has been forced. I have an iPhone 13 and originally I took this in to have a screen replacement. George said there were two options, the official apple screen which would cost PS200-PS300, or a non-official screen which would cost closer to PS80. I went for the cheaper option which was my first mistake. The screen quality is a huge decrease, it’s darker and much less responsive, not worth getting rid of the original screen even with a crack.
A few weeks down the line it completely stops working, full black screen, so I bring it in and get it fixed under warranty, met with sorry it was just a “faulty” part after having to make the journey back there and wait another few hours for it to be replaced. They did not however replace the screen protector that I also bought from them.
A few weeks down the line again and the display starts playing up again, the glue failed on multiple corners and dust had got under the camera, which the George said is from the glue failing but also contradicted himself as he said on the iPhone 13 you have to go in through the back to clean the camera, which they failed to do the second time I had to bring it in for repair. As this shop is closed on a weekend and a Monday, and the glue was failing the end of the previous week, I was not able to bring the phone in, meaning whilst in my pocket and rucksack at work, the failing glue peeled and cracked the screen in multiple areas, which the George used as an excuse claiming they were impact cracks, blaming a mark on the phone’s bodywork as lining up when that mark had been there long before he ever even touched the phone, and a mark that he would have seen both the previous times he was fixing the phone. But this excuse meant he would not have to warranty the screen.
So I am PS80, multiple journeys worth of petrol, and multiple hours of my time down only to be worse than where I started.
I have had my iPhone 13 for almost 3 years, up to date I only had a single crack on the screen which was an impact crack and the reason I had to get it repaired originally. Since getting it “repaired” through this establishment I have had multiple issues and the lower quality screen, both functionality wise and build quality wise, which has failed me multiple times.
Go to a better known repairer / repair base, this one is not worth the time or money

If I could give zero stars I would!!!!! I would certainly not recommend this company! Disgusting customer service. Took a laptop in for a screen replacement and was told it would be ready within 2 days. What a joke. Called on the day it was meant to be ready and apparently George was at the dentist and the guy in the shop took my number and said George would call back which he didn’t so I called again later that day and apparently George wasn’t up for talking! I was told he would call me the following day… no call so I called him, he didn’t remember the laptop, or my name, then said oh yes I remember now is that Emma…. Erm no! Said he hadn’t received the new screen as delivery was slow then the next time I called the excuse was new screen was broken and they’ve ordered another, next excuse was it’s fixed but wasn’t at the shop, apparently he tried to call me and couldn’t get through… rubbish. Then he said it would be there for collection the next day. I obviously doubted this would be the case especially as he’d fobbed me off so many times before, so I called before going to the shop and was told he had forgotten it and it was at his house. He then promised to deliver it and failed to do that too. Then I called again and was told his colleague was out delivering and would deliver it within the hour. This time I actually got the laptop back and fixed. I felt sorry for his colleague being asked to deliver my Laptop as it should have been him, getting others to do his dirty work. I was given a discount, not enough in my opinion, and frankly I will never use this company again. George is a liar, does nothing but fob you off constantly, and totally disrespects his customers.This is no way to run a business! However the young guy in the shop has fixed several mobile phones for me and is brilliant. He shouldn’t stay working for someone like George as it will ruin his reputation. This company is beyond a joke, if you want tech fixed don’t waste you time and money on this place!!!

My phone randomly stopped charging overnight and eventually died one morning. As I am working from home I rely on my phone for work calls and being able to log in to my work system. I called this store, got through within 2 rings, and George couldn’t have more helpful and polite. He advised I could come down today and he would be able to have a look as it was urgent. I went down, met George, showed him the issue and he fixed it within 20 minutes whilst I waited, chatting with me the whole time. I was so impressed with the professionalism, quality of work and high standard of customer care he upheld. He was able to assist me with other concerns regarding tech at home also. I will definitely be using this store again, should the need arise, and will recommend anyone who needs tech support or repairs to go here. Excellent job George and thank you for your help and expertise.
