I keep telling my two teenagers not to shop in CEX. My daughter bought three games today. One DS game cartridge was wrapped in sellotape and doesn’t work – this wouldn’t have been missed ( she was served by the manager / store owner ) as the cartridge had to be fished out and placed in the box – it was obvious it wasn’t likely to work. Not worth taking back & arguing over for 4 quid – but it’s a bit grim ripping off a youngster…another game I’m replacing with a working one off eBay.
Both my kids have had previous issues with badly scratched PS4 discs.. all replaced with cheaper ones off eBay.
I stopped buying here after I picked up a Blu-ray a few years ago, only to get home & find they hadn’t actually put the disc in the case.

Outstanding customer service from both Beeston Shop and Bulwell shop. I was looking for a steam deck, they didn’t have any in but they called the manager from Bulwell and they had one.
The guy drove all the way from Bulwell that day to bring one down for me. The steam Deck is in perfect condition and I can’t stay off it
