I arranged an appointment via Apple online for a battery service for my iPhone. It was booked on 29/6/24 for 2/7/24. I travelled into the city from about 30 miles away for the appointment. When I got there, I was advised that Western Digital could not undertake the battery change for my 2nd gen SE because a woman had walked in that morning and booked a battery change appointment for 12 midday that day. She came back and had her battery changed. 2 workers in the shop then advised that they did not have a battery for my phone as it had gone to the “walk in” customer. Therefore they couldn’t help me on the day and they would need to order a battery in and either I would need to come back in another appointment or they could keep my phone for several days until the battery change was done.
I expressed my irritation and exasperation to Robert, who was dealing with me. I then left with my hot, charge dropping phone in my bag. I wasted 3 hours of my day.

The staff that took care of me at this shop – Justin and Abby – were absolutely outstanding in every way. They went completely above and beyond to ensure that I was given the best possible outcome regarding a repair to my iPhone which required a completely new device, alongside my dealing with an awful phone rental company. They were understanding, patient and incredibly efficient. They went completely out of their way to help me. I will highly be recommending them and this shop to everyone I know. Thank you SO much. Service like this is rare and I hugely appreciate what they did for me.
Nice staff but the service provided was not helpful. Charged 90 pounds for something the Apple store can do for free in a fraction of the time. Western computers couldn’t fix my Macbook and said it couldnt be revived – and that all data would be lost. Took Macbook into official Apple store in Glasgow and had it fixed and back up and running with all data still accessible within 20 mins – with the only price paid was my 1.75 train ticket into the shop.
I am sure this place is good for a screen protector or a replacement airpod etc, but when it comes to repairs GO TO AN ACTUAL APPLE STORE
