Repaired my screen after I dropped the phone. Also repaired my motherboard shortly after (which totalled ~800$ in repairs, may have been from drop, may have been from screen repair as the phone was working fine other than the screen following the drop, until right after the screen repair was done). 3 weeks goes by after motherboard repair and the screen stops working, without any drop or damage. Return to see if that could be replaced, and was told it was my fault, likely from “bending in pocket”. I’ve never had any phone screen break from just being in my pocket after nearly two decades of having a phone. I suspect it was a cheaply made screen that was used as a fix, thus not being durable enough to exist in a pocket and endure everyday use. Either way, it should have been remedied. Nice guys, but disappointed overall by the experience after spending so much and having it break after not damaging it again following the initial drop.

I initially removed the review after the owner called and apologized. However, I had to return to leave comments as the provider returned my device.

This was the reason the provider sent it back:

We’ve adjusted your Trade-in Value for the following reason(s):
– Back glass has damage, severe scratching, or chips
– Display has defects such as visible burn-in or dead pixels

The whole purpose of getting the back glass fixed was to avoid additional expense, but I had to shell out extra money, causing me to incur a loss and rendering the device unsellable.

I accept that there is a one in a million chance that electronics can go wrong but I cannot accept it!
