Dropped off my desktop for repair and told him I think there is an issue with the motherboard.
I already did primary troubleshooting and couldnt figure it out.
He did the same things I did. Put the GPU and RAM back into slot improperly and charged me 50$ to tell me, something is wrong with the motherboard. It needs to be replaced.
Actual issue was one of the desktop Case LED connection wire was broken which was causing a short on the motherboard.

NO real troubleshooting skills here. Told me 2 days for him to diagnose the problem. Seems like he didn’t put any effort into it.

Louis recently helped me with practical and economical solutions for my very slow desktop computer (replaced hard drive) and when my laptop died (replaced with off lease laptop). Today, over the phone he correctly identified a driver incompatibility issue and solution which enabled me to restore some lost functionality following my switch from W10 to W11.
