Fairly unpleasant. The stuff is varied, as stuff usually is. But the atmosphere and working methods are more conducive to getting people out of the store asap than creating happy returning customers. They close between 12 and 2pm which is convenient. Then as soon as I got in after two and was actually on a video call with my wife to choose a dishwasher (exciting stuff) an employee CV ame.along and moved me out of the dishwasher section whilst they fiddled around with fridges in the adjacent area. So I then had to wait 15min more. I don’t know, I’m sure that makes sense, but it sucked. Plus the dishwashers are installed at head height so it’s really difficult to open and inspect them… And you kind of have to because there is zero information available about their products (likely not accidental) it’s impossible to know what’s what. Not a pleasant experience, but after faffing about we did decide to buy one… And then it wasn’t available. Hey ho.

I first went to Darty, the assistant knew nothing about the products. A ElectroDepo the young man was helpful and knowledgeable so I bougy my tumble dryer there.
