In Darty, French is primarily the mode of communication, I mean… it’s France after all, but one thing that stood out to me was the fact they had a sale representative with the ability to speak both French and English, and this person in particular was very helpful to me. My experience was pleasurable and made to feel ‘among’ and understood.
I find the staff to be a bit awkward. Either they ignore you completely when you are obviously looking for something, or they greet you at the door and make you feel pressured when you’re just browsing. I’d rather go to Fnac in Lille where the staff are more aware of their impact on visitors.
Not bad but there are not many choices though
