Absolutely the worst if you have a problem with your purchase. The sales people are good. Helpful and friendly….however, if you have a problem with your purchase, beware!
We bought an expensive Bose stereo speaker, and when we got it home we noticed that the seal had been broken (not a big deal). When we plugged it in, it didn’t work. Upon researching the issue, it appeared the speaker had a failure to download an update. We tried all of the Bose trouble shooting software instructions and still it didn’t work.
When we tried to go back to the store a day later to exchange it we were met with a rude “repair person” (because you can’t return or exchange anything you buy at Darty apparently) who had three people (including his manager) try to get it working, but who still wanted to keep it have us come back the next day.
Huge resistance to exchange it and very rude towards us.
Not sure if Ubaldi has better customer service but will definitely be going there instead.

I bought a LG Slim Washing Machine from Darty as soon as I moved from Milan to Nice in April. My friend who lives here told me about Darty Max, a repair service subscription for all of your large appliance before. I knew a subscription to Darty Max will give me a discount on the washing machine and or free delivery and installation (forget which was the case). Darty Max is a repair service for all large appliances even if you didn’t buy the appliance from Darty. I just had the rubber part of the freezer door of a Smeg 1950’s look refrigerator replaced for free. I bought the fridge in Milan in 2018 and the rubber part was still covered because Darty Max coverage depends on the warranty of the manufacturer and Smeg is a pricey brand. I had to wait for the part to arrive but everything went smoothly. I will buy all of my large appliances here.

I had a new TV affixed to the wall – the work was organized & the installers cleaned up afterwards – they were pleasant and spoke English (a bonus for me) – afterwards I realized this TV did not have the features I thought it had so I had to get a replacement – another person came to collect the original TV – he took it down and repackaged it in the box – another very good experience. The team seems to have been trained correctly and portray a friendly, helpful & courteous manner. Thank you.
