Did want to purchase a new phone, there where +/- 10 salesman standing there and talking, and laughing. When I asked they told me that the person over there will take care of me. He was with a customer an There was already someone waiting. After 10 minutes I left. The salesman was still with the first customer and the second customer was still waiting.
There are so many salespeople standing around but no-one would go the extra mile to at least acknowledge the customer and maybe look with the customer if they can help in some kind of way.
I worked in sales as well, and if I saw there is a customer standing and waiting for one off my colleges I wen and looked if I could help them in some kind of way so that at least we would not loose the customer and give them a nice experience.
It is sad that as long as they have nothing to loose they don’t care.
