Today, 20.08.2022, I was about to have to pay for a Steckdose with the price which is more expensive than the price shown at the selling basket.

The price at the selling basket = 4.99
The price when the cashier(s) scanned = 6.99 or 7.99
Luckily, I checked and remember the price before I purchase something.

I informed the cashier that the price should be 4.99 as it printed at the selling basket.

Instead of apologizing/or inform about the possibility of the mistake, wrong price or system error or anything, the first cashier lady asked me to go check and ask whatever anyone over-there. She said she can not go check for me (which I never ask her to), the price is the price show like this. I did not even complain anything just a sentence that the price showing there is 4.99.

I went to cross check the price again, the name of the brand, the specification, everything matched with the item.

I went to another cashier just in case it was system error on that machine. The another lady response exactly the same to ask me to check with any other guy. And of course I was looking for some minutes and could not find anyone who can help.

This price different might not be too much for anyone, but I feel that this is a little bit unfair, and reduce the credibility of the shop.
What if any customer buy it without checking the price? What if any other more expensive items price different from the printed price like this?

I walked from Rathaus Steglitz directly here just want to buy something. But from now on I think I would prefer to buy with some other Electronic store, which has no issue about this price matching, instead of this. Of course I am just a little buyer, would not impact to you anything.

It’s true that almost no one in Berlin likes to work, but I’ve never seen people as inefficient as the employees of Saturn. The only way to get the attention of any of them, I guess, is to break something or to steal something. Each time I’m visiting this store, with the honest attention of buying something, usually an expensive something, I get out empty handed and go buy online. It’s unbelievable! The only people who actually give service there are the representatives of the cellular phone companies. I went there today in order to buy an external hard-drive. For 30 minutes I’ve tried to get an employee to answer one question. Of course I came out empty handed

I was kind of disappointed. I remember going to other Saturns as a kid and I always liked all the tech you can find and test. I was looking to test some Tablet PCs, but there were hardly any there that were testable and even hardly any in stock to buy, so that was a bit of a fizzle for me… then I ended up buying a set of earphones and had to wait in line for about 10 people in front of me at a single open cash register while the other employees that seemingly had nothing better to do didn’t bother to open a second cash register….
