My mom brought a completely functioning MacBook Pro in to have the battery swapped, she paid PS150, but they replaced it with a cheap aftermarket battery which is currently giving a “battery service needed” warning and broke something causing the fans to spin at 100% all the time making it completely unusable.

Instead of fixing the problem that *they caused* by cutting corners and performing poor quality work, they said it was the logic board and would be another couple hundred pounds to fix. Nowhere on their site does it say customers are liable if Welsh Computers breaks your laptop, but I guess that’s where we are.

Then when they were made aware of this problem they resort to name calling (my mom isn’t a Karen for not wanting her laptop broken) and passing the blame on.

Attached is a photo of the screws they stripped while performing the “repair”.

I came in to sell some tech and Adam was very helpful. He let me know that I had some items that would be worth selling online instead because I would be able to sell them for a much better price. I appreciated the transparency.

I have also had great experience when I bought a Nintendo Switch from them for a good price.

Overall very friendly and helpful.
