Following a PC security issue, Bill fitted a new hard drive, a new SSD, performed a clean install of Windows10 and transferred all my data files to the new drives. He re-installed my Security suite and some other essential software and ran checks to ensure my PC was free of malware. He also ran checks on an external hard drive and updated my Synology NAS’s DSM OS. Everything I asked him to do, he did – and more. He took almost a week and kept me posted on progress throughout. Considering I now have a reliable, clean and faster system, and recognising how much work was involved, his charges were most reasonable.

I approached William to ask if he could build me a gaming setup and he went above and beyond, updating me through every step the process – starting from getting a build plan together, advising me on the best components I would need to keep the system running cool as this was something I was quite conscious of, and sharing his progress with me daily leading up to the final tuning of the build. I originally asked for help setting up the printer but also asked for help downloading Adobe Photoshop Elements 11. However, this programme as we found today, isn’t compatible with Windows 11 and Aardvark computers showed no end of patience getting our computer back to where it had been despite the many obstacles that Photoshop threw up, then he downloaded another system for us. My advice – don’t try to download an older version of Photoshop onto Windows 11 – it will take ages to put right. Also they are very reasonably priced, definitely not a rip-off.
