This review is very personal, and it may come off as bitter, which it is. About 10 years ago the apartment I was living had a fire and I was not allowed to enter my place to retrieve my cable box. I let them know when it happened and also after I was not allowed back in to retrieve it. About a month later I got a letter from them that basically threatened my credit rating if I did’t give them the money for the cable box. After paying for it(money which I really couldn’t afford as I had no insurance at the time), I sent them an email to let them know how dissatisfied I was, they called me to apologize. They were sorry, but not sorry enough to return the money (somewhere betwwen $400 – $500). Their policy was anything that wasn’t returned had to be paid for. So was Sask Tel’s policy, but they waived that and didn’t charge me for things they lost. You lost $80 – $90 per month for the last 10 years, but hey, you got the money back from the cable box. Edit: After response from Access. Sorry but you had a chance to make this right when it happened about 10 years ago. Instead you chose profits over customers. The apology you gave me back then was worthless. You didn’t give me the money back and if I didn’t pay you, you would have sent it to a collection agency and ruined my credit. So No. There is NOTHING you can do now. That shipped has sailed.
Our router stopped working after a year and a half of it being fine. We called tech support to come in to replace the router. The first technician who came in, didn’t just replace the router but changed the whole system. When we asked questions about it, he told us that he knew how to do his job but didn’t answer anything or explain how the new system worked. Of course our wifi didn’t work after he left, and kept cutting in and out. So we went to the store and they told us another technician would come. He did, but didn’t have all of the equipment. We assumed he would come back the same day to finish the job. He didn’t. Now today I had to call tech support again for the 6th time to ask if the technician was going to come back to finish the job. They called me back and said he was going to call me to finish setting everything up. At 1:00 I found random wires and a box sitting on my porch. The guy dropped it off and that was it!! The job still isn’t finished, and now I have to call tech support again to bring someone in!! At this point I’m extremely frustrated. If you can avoid using this company please do so. There is no communication between tech support and the technicians!
I just got one of their wifi plans installed in my place and I love the app with the sensor feature and being able to see all decides connected. The guy that came and set it up was nice and showed me the app and was able to set up the 2 wifi pods in good places. I like that the pods with sensors are movable as with plug in access to put anywhere.
