Manfred beautifully restored an old Underwood typewriter for me. He was lovely and patient with me organizing to pick it up (I don’t live in the area and had to organize travel) and made a custom clear dust cover for it as well for very little. For me his rates were extremely affordable given the special skill it requires and time he took. There are few in the world that can do this work. He’s a bit of an artist really.
I have an antique Underwood – this is the place to buy ribbons and get repairs!! Very knowledgeable.
