I was heading to Tofino for a long anticipated vacation with my parents when my camera ran out of battery. When I tried to charge the battery, it wouldn’t take a charge. I was very upset, as taking pictures has always been our favorite way to document our trips. I was unfamiliar with the town and happened upon Alberni Communications & Electronics Ltd. I didn’t expect that someone would be able to help me (because it wasn’t a camera store) but I was desperate at the time and tried anyway. To my surprise, the gentleman at the front counter troubleshot a bit and found the problem. He and a coworker proceeded to search through the store to find a part I needed. I was so impressed with the effort they put forth to help me. I wish I had a place like Alberni Communications & Electronics Ltd. in my town. They truly know how to give good, honest customer service.

I brought in my broken laptop and after keeping it for a few hours I had the choice to get it fixed with Windows 10, which I didn’t think worthwhile(I would have preferred W11 but that wasn’t possible). So my laptop wasn’t fixed but I also wasn’t charged for the information.

My laptop crashed and there were important files on it that I thought I’d never see again. Ryan was able to recover the files within a few days, saving me a lot of work and headaches, at a very reasonable price. I’ll be back. I highly recommend Alberni IT Services.
