Very UNPROFESSIONAL and DISRESPECTFUL staff at the Apple Store in Brent Cross. I visited this store on April 27, 2024, to follow up on a battery that was replaced the day before in the same store, which drained extremely fast in less than five hours of normal usage.

The staff member who addressed my issue, possibly named Adrial, was unprofessional, misinterpreting the diagnostic charts and stating that the pattern of the new battery was the same as the old one (a word of mouth)! He dismissed this as a non-issue, attributing it to my usage.

After our unhelpful conversation, I lined up again to seek help from another person and to make a complaint about his attitude during our conversation. However, he approached me again in the queue, asking if he could assist me further. I refused, requesting help from someone else, but he and other staff members prioritized others over me, ignored my turn in the queue, and also my request for assistance.

Furthermore, when I tried to speak to the person in charge of the queue to file a formal complaint, she ignored me and abruptly the initial staff member asked me to leave the store. Following that, he and another lady staff member shouted at me in front of my young daughter. A security guard dressed in black (and with a beard) then came and followed me out of the store, insisting I leave, even though I was already complying. Outside the store, this security person continued to follow me for some steps outside the store so I stopped and asked him not to follow me anymore. He continued for some steps again. Then I tried to ease the situation for my daughter by taking a photo of her, the same Apple security person shouted at me again and asked me not to take photos.

I am ASTONISHED by the behavior of these staff members, simply because I wanted to speak to someone other than the staff member who was not helpful. This experience was deeply disappointing and not at all what I expect from Apple.

In addition, I am wondering how such bad behavior is tolerated in the Brent Cross Shopping Center and also in the Council. I just realized afterward when I was reading the customer service that I was NOT the first one to be shouted at by this store’s staff members and security, although no treatment for such bad behavior has been done. Such behavior is damaging the respect of Apple, the shopping center tolerating it despite many reported circumstances, and probably the association in the council that should deal with such BAD behavior.

I recommend you NOT go to this store in order not to put yourself in a similar situation where the stuff do not respect customers or even do not know how to handle an issue, especially in front of small kids so that they do not scare and terrify them.

I’m never that impressed with Apple service. I blame the organisation as the staff don’t appear to be that well trained. I mean from a technical point of view it even simple things like refunds. There were two staff that were particularly lazy as well. Chatting to each other and Incapable of helping because they didn’t know anything so asked someone else. Clearly not interested in learning either. Nice easy job for them I guess. She then had to ask someone else to help me on a basic query.

You got to remember Apple are worth more than two trillion dollars. Richer than the US a government so they have the money for training so this is not acceptable.

They have a lot of lazy people at Apple. This comes across immediately.

During my recent visit to the Apple Brent Cross Store, I was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional customer service provided by the staff. I had brought in my iPhone to have the battery replaced and I was pleased to see that the installation was carried out smoothly without any complications. The staff were professional, courteous and knowledgeable, and they made sure to explain the entire process to me in detail. The cost for the replacement was also very reasonable, which was an added bonus. Overall, I left the store feeling delighted and satisfied with the exceptional service I had received.
