I purchased an Apple SE watch on June 30, 2023 from this store and started having problems with it on July 5, 2024. My watch would not charge and just had the apple symbol and the time in red. I brought it to Chinook and they said they would send it away for repair. I then received an email saying that I would have to pay $259 for the watch to be repaired bc of a boot loop problem. I spoke to Steven (one of the store managers) and he said there was nothing they could do for me. I had to either pay the $259 for the watch to be fixed or just get the watch back broken. This store did absolutely nothing to help me out; no store credit, no exchange, no customer care at all. I asked if I could speak with a District Manager and was told they don’t deal with customer service issues……….

Apparently, Apple does not stand by their products after the 1 year warranty period is over. I was also told even if I had bought Apple care this issue would not have been covered by extended warranty. The quality of Apple products is not what it used to be, and customer service is non existent. You would think a one trillion dollar market cap company could help their customers when their products are not up to standard, but I guess not….

Buyer beware, this store is not helpful if your apple product has issues outside of the warranty window.

I’ve always been a fan of Apple products and was excited to visit this Apple Store during the holidays. We made two trips to purchase a few items. The staff here are generally wonderful – most of them were incredibly helpful, taking the time to show us various options and helping us find the best products for our needs. However, I had a mixed experience with some of the employees. A few of them seemed rather uninterested and almost disrespectful, showing annoyance rather than assistance. On a couple of occasions, they seemed more engaged in conversations with each other than in helping us or other customers. Comparatively, I’ve experienced better customer service at the Downtown Best Buy. I hope the management at this Apple Store takes note and works towards ensuring a consistently positive experience for all customers. I believe a little more attention in this area would greatly enhance the overall shopping experience.

I made an appointment at the Genius Bar and when I arrived I was told to wait at a table until I was called up. I ended up waiting over 35 minutes with what looked like employees helping new customers who arrived. I asked why I was still waiting and was told they cancelled my appointment because they couldn’t find me. The whole time I was sitting at the tables they told me to sit at (there are three) listening and waiting for an employee to call me. Then I was told to wait another 10 minutes for a new appointment they just made for me since they cancelled the original one. It felt more like visiting the zoo with the monkeys running this place.
